Yes. There are variations of the kobolds regarding whether it is a classic D&D kobold (D&D 3.5 for example) or a modern D&D kobold or whether it is a Pathfinder kobold (and let's not get into the time when the term "kobold" was used to refer to other types of goblins, due to the German folk origins of the word "kobold"), that's why there is usually a lot of confusion. This Kobold here is a perfect fit for Golarion (Pathfinder's world) as those ridges on the sides of its head are typical or characteristic of Pathfinder kobolds (modern D&D kobolds have horns and classic Kobolds from D&D 3.5 are rather round heads with virtually no protrusions). I have seen before reptilian or draconic kobolds but with long ears... I have no idea where they came from.
haha, it's true! I was forgetting about those. I think they came out of that from the description of the kobolds in D&D 3.5 where it was said that they "had dog-like snouts/noses". And then that artist, who also did the illustrations for the Spiderwick chronicles, did those illustrations of dog kobolds for I don't know what campaign setting or something. I like the kobolds as dogs idea but I don't like that look they made: in general they looked like some kind of chiguaguas, but with legs and arms with, like, reptilian scales... and rat tails?
