It started as a strange encounter, and ended with Qorchi hiring the man as a bodyguard out of pity. (And perhaps also to have an available body to practice healing spells on.)

White Coeurl turned out to be worth the investment, though, even if he is a bit strange and refuses to be seen without his mask.

Qorchi is my character, White Coeurl is my boyfriend's. He more or less based Coeurl off of King from the Tekken series, though Coeurl is washed up and deeply in debt from gambling problems.

For Qorchi, having someone around with acute control of their aetherflow is a big positive when she can't make contact with a person without feeling everything happening in their bodies.
