So I FINALLY post this thing up. It's been in my artpad for almost a full month now, completely ignored. Damn my laziness! >.-.<
I think it looks better now that it's coloured. :3 The hips look a little funky, but I don't care. My scanner really likes the colours black and red, so much so that it nearly sucked the colourful life out of them. D:
I kinda regret the bright pink horns there on the top. Neon pink and hot pink don't blend well. DX

Chameleons do change multiple colors so that is cool http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMT1FLzEn9I
This is simply grand. Making the iridescence flow through the character so smoothly and seamlessly with the real media at your disposal is a staggering display of skill and perseverance. Of course, one might say that it is just me who is favourably biased towards anything rainbowish, but should this picture be monochrome, I'd still remark on the softness of the tonal segues.
The way you make the tail curl is nothing short of regal, with precise geometry, yet without it affecting the impression of said tail's nimbleness. Of amazed note is your ability to depict a character in such a bendy pose without compromising the pattern of textures covering the dragon. There are many examples of sub par uses of multicoloured scheme for the character's exterior, but you managed to strike the right chromatic proportions everywhere. Even those horns don't look as appalling as you mentioned in the despription.
While this drawing could have benefited from a background, it could have done the same thing to the dragon's colouring as the scanner did to dragon, focus-wise, so it's probably better off the way it is, even though seeing it against the black emptiness instead of white would have accentuated the centrepiece drake in all its lustrous glory.
Pardon my obscenely delayed and overtly verbose input, but time is no obstacle to the response this picture called for. It's great.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFcomment. Damn. @.-.@
Let's see...how to respond back to this...Ummm...THANK YOU! XD ^.-.^
The tail is still a personal fav of mine. :P Makes me think of something serpentine.
And to think this was all created from pure and utter BOREDOM. XD Heh, maybe I should get bored more often. It seems that's the only time my Muse decides it wants to come out and play. XD
Weellll... Let's just say I learned a valuable lesson (when it came to the top pair of horns); Never combine a Colorless Blender pencil with neon pencils. Neon colours don't blend well, or smooth out.
And honestly I'm not too creative when it comes to backgrounds. DX I'm horrible with them. My father does WAY better backgrounds and landscapes than me.
Lol, you're like a walking Dictionary/Thesaurus. XD

You're welcome ! Boredom-inspired or not, this picture is praise-worthy beyond any doubt. And Muses do act in a mysterious ways 8)
Blending pencil colours is something beyond my understanding and ability, but I'll take the lesson you learned to heart all the same, thank you.
Landscapes are the world of their own, and it takes some willpower to abstain from continuing to draw them and them alone for the rest of your life once you've mastered the ways of depicting them 8D
As for your kind compliment, well, let's just say that very few dictionaries have an entry on the word "despription" v_v
