aha, okay, so, I went to one of the Tybee Island beaches this week with my sister etc. and we found this awesome, off the map restuarant that sold awesome seafood served by an adorable waiter. But it wasn't just food, they had loads of baby crocs, and birds, and even a few cats that hung around the gift shop. One such cat I noticed sitting on a box, so I went to pet it (love cats, can't resist them -is petting hers-). Well, while I was crouched down I heard something say, "meow, meow." Like, the clear words, and I thought it was my mother or something because she's weird like that. But it turned out to be this old, battered and crazy looking parrot. Which I thought was hilariously awesome. So, I went and got my sister and told her what it'd done and we started meowing at it to try to get it to say it again.
That crazy looking bird stares at us, cocks it's head to the side, takes a deep breath
..and rings like a telephone.
To which my sister immediately replies, "hello?"
I do not think I have laughed that hard in a very long time.
