The very first biomods were developed for strictly practical purposes - once the technology had become available to the public, however, there was nothing keeping crafty freelance modders from playing around with all sorts of gimmicky or purely cosmetic designs...

Bioware isn´t necessarily superior to cyberware, just... different. I could definitely see both types of technology existing in the same universe.

Which would have been a better choice in the above case, as well.
Experienced modders generally advise against getting components that alter or augment your perception at such an early stage...

i would of go with the tail first just due to "i got a tail! eeeee!" that and i can test out what works via fur care then i could start adding more.
