So, rather than doing a pencil sketch beforehand, I did freehand ink work for this one. I did that for most of my first Inktober drawings during my first year, so I think I’ll start doing that for the rest of them for this year. I’m pretty happy with this one!

Deep beneath the earth, there are all manner of strange things. One of these things is the type of sentient jeweled construct known as a Crystalwarder. These creatures typically dwell within the gem-laden caverns deep beneath the surface and are believed to serve as sentries and scouts for deep-dwelling draconic beings.
