Well, I'm using a tablet as usual. Made a sketch in paint with that turquise color.
Then made a lineart over the sketch, filled the lineart/characters with turquise and erased the sketch leftovers outside the lines by filling that area with the same color then refill with white.
Lots of zooming in and detail work (not that I accidently erase a line) with tablet and mouse.
I would say it took me 3 - 6 hours.

Even when you uploaded this picture two months ago, it still has some great details :3
