Elite among the warrior classes, rangers and paladins are oft held as the pinnacle of what the fighting class can attain. One is known for tracking and being one with nature. The other a noble warrior taken to a holy order and bound to their god. Both are invaluable to any adventuring party.
I love how these came out. The rangers really had a sculpt that lent itself to the woodlands with a hunting or tracking look to their pose while the paladins seemed to beam pride and confidence.

My most reliable damage causing tools were: the fireball spell for spellcasters, the stealth+backstab one-hit-kill combo of thief characters, but on the top of the list is...bows and crossbows. Rangers are pretty damn accurate at hitting and damage dealing in a group fights, and easily stealing 40-60% of the total damage done. Ranger or any sub-types is a must if there is much group fighting to be had, but a Marksman is a bow-demigod!
I saw how well that works in Skyrim: https://www.youtube.com/embed/lHbF9ynGZV0
