My first Walrus for
sparksparkles as a prize for being my 1,000th watcher <3
He was really fun to draw, I loved his whiskers the most. What a fun character!

Top hats are the best!!!! And Rotor Walrus (from the Sonic series) is already an engineer. LOL I so love it! :)
Here's hoping there will be a similar walrus in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, on March 5th. I'm guessing not (since the movie will not match the book/story), but still hoping. ;)

If you can find a copy of Alice in Wonderland from 1985 (now on DVD), please rent/buy it. The walrus in that was played by Karl Malden, and he was a MAJOR influence for my fursuit. He'a also so incredibly cute and affectionate to Louis Nye (the carpenter)! :-D
The 1998 made-for-TV Alice in Wonderland walrus was ok...but just a guy with a VERY long drooping Fu Manchu moustache to simulate tusks, so he wasn't very convincing.
I'm an Alice ADDICT, so the new movie will be to me what the new Star Trek movie was to everybody else. LOL I'm rather excited, but am preparing for a bit of a fall, too. If it sucks, I'll just go home and watch the 1985 version. :-D
More walruses, eh? Alright then, here ya go! *hug again!*

1933 - Rather creepy in parts, especailly at the very end, but only because it was re-enacting the end of Through the Looking Glass PRECISELY FROM THE BOOK! It can be seen on YouTube if you just search for Alice Wonderland 1933 . Lots of familiar actors, though, including Sterling Holloway (Winnie the Pooh, Cheshire Cat, etc.) as the frog footman.
The most SURREAL version of Alice was Jan Svankmajer's version, which I am always praising. That, too, can be found on YouTube (just search for Svankmajer Alice). It was not black and white, but it definitely was creepy for having no music, VERY little dialogue, and rather freaky characters...
Either of those sound familiar? Let me know if you have any more information (via private message...don't want to spam up this list!)
And thanks for the comment on my dancing! *does flipper dance for you* :-P I LOVE dancing, but it takes much out of me! Don't wanna stop though! ;)
