i lie to myself every year about inktober and i won't stop

I did the same thing for several years with NaNoWriMo, and every time the stress and the pressure did me in like ten regular deadlines at once. If that's what it feels like to try and write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November, I can't imagine how it must feel having to draw a coherent image based on someone else's theme every day for a month.
