Yeah, the REAL pain won't hit until the morning. Though I hear the worst comes two days later. The buildup of lactic acid, bruises, and so on. But then, a lot of fighters take pleasure in the pride they feel because most people in that sort of pain would be completely worthless. Sobbing in the corner "It HURTS it hurts!"

I dunno if I could take that for real, but I'd at least like to be in a real fight, mostly to test myself. Just a sparring match with headgear and a mouth guard would be fine. And no pulling punches either. It'd help me gauge how much I can take and how hard I can hit.

Hah! No. No way. So far, all the good art you can see in my gallery is commissioned. I am not able to put out art even half as good as RH Junior (though I know some people who would say I draw better because I'm not as extremely conservative... no lie; people are crazy).

I did write up the script for my own cameo arc though. Unfortunately, I think it kinda got thrown out the window near the end...

Weee, breaks from the internet are fun! Kinda boring though. Not much on TV, except Good Eats. Love that show!

Anyway, there were a couple sore spots for me concerning my cameo arc. First is that RH Junior deviated from my scripts, though it only got really bad near the end (I wanted the fight to be close, with my fursona losing; he made it a shut-out). Granted, a lot of the edits made sense, but sometimes I felt like he was writing the story he wanted to write, not the one I wanted to tell. Never pay an artist to draw you a comic unless you both understand what the relationship is and how things are going to go. The second sticking point was he didn't provide any sort of closure. Sure, there was a final strip, but... it felt like it left things hanging. From his perspective, my arc was well over the limit of maximum strips. From my perspective, it felt like bad writing; I was left wondering what happened after the lecture (and kiss) in the hospital. Some fans felt it was a proper end, but I never did.

Kinda moot now. That arc ended months ago, and I never found the courage to confront him on it. I just hope he doesn't find out through word of mouth. That'd be embarrassing. I don't want a reputation as a passive-aggressive individual. I'll probably have to talk it over with him sooner or later.

Erf. What a wall of text. Sorry about that. Guess I really need to get over this somehow. Lord knows, grudges only ever hurt the people who carry 'em.

That's a shame. :/ If you payed him and expected him to follow your script, and he changed it up without asking, well, you do have the right to feel sour about it, I think. and don't feel bad about the wall of text - recieving awall of text usally makes me feel special. *chuckles*

Maybe I'll talk it over with him sometime and ask if he can't at least draw something to give a little closure. Though I'll be a little reluctant to give over more money, I can tell ya that. That's like paying a man to fix what he left undone on your house. He should've done it right the first time.

But we'll see. I don't intend to get in a fix about it. And I probably could write up my own little epilogue for the end... just wish he'd told me it was ending there so we could've talked it over. Oh well. I'll move on.

But I'll say this, the fat hog is lucky I chose the ring. I abide by the rules, even if he doesn't. But outside the ring... ...all bets are off.

Yeah, I considered a follow-up strip, but I'm kinda leery throwing money toward Ralph these days. The man is not exactly the kindest person I've met.
