I thought for certain that I had already posted this one but apparently it slipped through the cracks. This piece is from quite a number of years ago, and it has my ever mischievous, villainous, seductive, sexy Vipera Vixen.

It is odd how you'll look upon a piece of art that you've created and will take great satisfaction in some little aspect of it. Their were a couple little things like that in this one.

First was the Yield sign in the picture; I'd never done one before so I had to take a walk down the street from where were living and stare at one for quite a while. I also made several sketches of it at the same time. I things I rather confused several motorist at the time. After all why would a guy be standing on a island by freeway exit staring at road sign so intently?

Second was the red border around the piece. With hindsight I should have just masked the areas where the lines would go, but no. Instead I carefully measured them with a ruler and then hand inked with red ink. Once the ink had dried I went over it with scarlet color pencil and blended with turpentine. In the end it all came out nice!
