Ebony Rain is a herbalist and can analyze any material she ingests and create a potion, salve, jelly, past or resin from said ingredients and her self. She can also use potions to change her own viscosity should the need arise. Her mane and tail are semi-transparent, you can only make our a shape or shadow but no details.
She can control the viscosity of her slime on any part of her that is pink at will and uses it to "mark" things for various reasons, such as locations for certain items. She can add a special scent to it when she uses certain herbs for ease of identifying specific items or even creatures, so she can even track it. She has a very special blend for if/when she finds a special somepony and one for a mate should the relationship reach that point.
