I had to bring in my favorite character from the Gene Catlow comic, Cotton Taylor. And the bit about a squillion possibilities is a direct quote from him.
It's nice to know that
catswhisker and 
genecatlow will correct me if I got the continuity wrong. Originally, Thalburd was going to die, but they told me that Thalburd would not die in office, but would resign instead. So I fixed the circumstances of Cotton coming to the Premiership of Canovia (who would succeed Thalburd had not been established yet, so I had room for artistic license.)
I also had a chat with
warhorse573 about the possibility that he would have a son. He replied that WarHorse would have to be very drunk to sleep with a female, but the Empire allow for all manner of intoxicants -- yes, even acid and heroine is legal here, and the Empire has a healthy pot industry. To put it simply, the Empire of Smilodons has never had drug laws.
Some people say I should publish this, but I honestly don't know. Too many people have characters showing up in here.

It's certainly up to you if you feel that your work should be in hardcopy in some form. You've certainly put a great deal of personal energy and creative skill into your story, and it shows. For our part, Tawana and I would not object to seeing it in print.
(And I didn't know Cotton was your favorite character from the comic! From the amount of character development and plot interaction you put into Eugene, I would have guessed he was your favorite.)
