I can't think of a better way to end "International Sloth Day" (October 20th) than with a piece of "Zootopia" fan art - featuring everyone's favorite sloth from DMV (Department of Mammal Vehicles), 'Flash'…
In this one-panel comic strip gag, 'Flash' visits the office of 'Dr. Madge' (the honey badger - who [in the storyline of the Disney CGI animated feature] was working for 'Mayor Lionheart' at the Cliffside Asylum, in trying to figure out how the sixteen missing carnivores ended up becoming 'savage'). Returning to her normal routine as an M.D. (Mammal Doctor), 'Dr. Madge' has the slow sloth as her first patient of the day - who is already stripped down to his underwear, and waiting on the examination table.
This 'medical gag' could've been as easy as having the doctor ask her patient to say "Ah" - knowing full well that the sloth would take a longer-than-normal response time for such a simple request. So, instead, I have an alternate 'medical gag' that's equally as funny, if not more-so...
I'd originally drawn this comic strip several months ago, but I'd waited until this week to add colors to both characters, as well as to the setting and a few props. Enjoy... and take your time!
