Ever heard of kitsungi? It's the Japanese art of repairing pottery with lacquer dusted with metal. It treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

I picked up a finer, new brush pen the other day at a Japanese bookstore near us and this is my first try with it. It behaves way differently than my long butt one that picked up more cartridges for. Learning yay!
