Here's the first set of characters for my little anthro universe, Law of the Jungle!

Matilda Kinney (Wildcat): Matilda is Silas’ PA and adopted child, but the latter is mostly kept between the two of them. She has mousy brown hair, cut short into a bob with silver glasses and a dainty posture. She’s efficient, sharp and fiercely intelligent, she’s amazing at what she does, despite always being underestimated for her size compared to the apex predators and her feral and unkempt nature around the purebreds. She’s someone who’s stuck in flux, in status purgatory, especially in the upper echelons of the social food chain where she finds herself. Her parents were travelling musicians, bringing Matilda on the road with them until their untimely death, she was then brought to her evil and abusive aunt before being taken under the wing of Mr. Halcyon. She still loves music however, and she’s quite good, a prodigy even. But out of love and respect for her legal guardian she stays by his side, working with him more than she does for him, worrying not only for his wellbeing but his morality, being unafraid to call out his more unsavoury actions.

Silas Halcyon (Panther): Silas is the CEO of Halcyon Industries, the most powerful business in the city which he rules with an iron fist. He’s tall, imposing and always well dressed with a large scar across his right eye, he walks with a cane, but it’s more to look intimidating than out of any actual need. He’s elegant, polite but seemingly cold, emotionless and ruthless, the kind of coldness that can only come from great pain. However, unlike a lot of the small clusters of the upper class that rule the city, he’s actually not objectively evil. A vicious businessman he may be, but he doesn’t abuse his workers, he desires only money and power, and abused workers gives him neither. He does have a softer side however, shown in his young PA and adopted daughter Matilda. He’s not a particularly warm or emotional man, but he does try his best to give Matilda the love and respect she deserves after her hardships, he sees much of his younger self in her.

Madame Angelette DeMarlo (Persian Cat): The ex-CEO of Velveteen Inc, a powerful company bathed in pink to match the leader of the company. She presents herself as a sweet and motherly face but behind the scenes there’s something much more sinister there. It’s all a façade, her motherly warmth, even the success of her business. Her only employee aside from a couple of goons as “security” is her abused, underpaid and overworked niece, 16-year-old Matilda Kinney who she gained two years before when her sister and her husband died in a horrific accident. She hated her sister, a moggy who married a wildcat, unworthy of the name DeMarlo, she takes this aggression out on her new charge. She leaves Matilda in the attic of her office building, never allowing her to have a life outside of school and working for her, verbally abusing her at every turn while dumping her with all the hard work while she did her socialising as the face of Velveteen Inc. This was brought to an end by Silas when he found this all out while negotiating business with Angelette and trying to dig up dirt on her. Angelette was left bankrupt, and arrested for fraud, felony tax evasion and child neglet. Now she swears revenge on Silas and Matilda for ruining her.
