Since the way I draw heads could use some improvement, might as well try to work on making the heads look more animal-like. The first two on the left are what I started with, the one on the bottom is how I normally draw heads and I was doing a comparison between it and the sketch above it, then the ones on the right are what I did a little later on. Looking through references I'm just trying to find a spot where it works well enough for me to feel satisfied.

I will be doing more practice on this, also this isn't a character in particular I just felt like drawing a gator head, that's all.
