The most recent books, Making Money and Acidemicals which JUST came out, are part of the Industrial Revolution and The Unseen University (The Wizards) respectively.
Also, DEATH is one of my favorite characters.

He's very real. Down to earth, normal, smart... As are most of the 'main characters' while the rest of the supporting characters are exaggerated literal-minded fantasy characters and characatures of personality types.
Death is one of my favorites. As is Nanny Ogg and Ponder Stibbons. I love the Wizards, and I have the scientific discussion books, The Science of DiscWorld, TSoD 2: The Globe, and TSoD3: Darwin's Watch.

I want the Science books ;-;. I'll get into them after I finish the Tiffany Aching (current) trilogy. I've read all the main books up through Making Money, so I'm working on the young adult ones :V. Gonna get Nation too, since the excerpt I read was excellent.
So, Rincewind used to be my favorite character until he started to fall out of the books.
But the Watch, once it started rolling? Such a huge, complex melting pot of crime-fighting misfits. I would love to see some of my favoites. Angua, Reg Show, and of course Commander Vimes, whom I always assume looked a bit like Clint Eastwood. I also always picture him with an eyepatch after Night Watch, which probably isn't true, but it's interesting to see him with it.

all i got to say is don't do drugs...i mean don't do the audio books till after you read them. explicitly with the sam vimes story line. some of the funnest stuff i've ever read, but dosent hit the same funny bones wile in audio format. although the postman & making money one dose seem better to me in audio.
I have all FOUR (4) movies of the DiscWorld as well. 2 are animated and 2 are live action. I'd be more then happy to broadcast them for you over my uStream, and for anyone else you'd like to drag in with you to watch. They're pretty good, and they're even making a 5th movie now.
The 2 animated ones are The Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music.
The live action ones are The Hogfather and The Colour of Magic.
Also, I can't favorite this hard enough.
