Sketch Commission - Stuffed Ferdinand
Comments are always appreciated :)
A sketch commission I did for my friend
Ph0220
He wanted a picture referencing a scene from one of his stories involving Ferdinand from the Tom and Jerry Movie and some weight gain shenanigans :P
It involved some of the stuff consumed showing through the dog's belly so that was a bit of a challenge. The background took some doing as well.
The story can be found here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18920587/
Feel free to check it out
Thank you
Ph0220 for commissioning me :D
Commissions are not currently open at the moment as I am taking a break. They will be reopening in either late November or early December. Thank you.

You managed to capture the style of the movie while integrating your own :3 A multiple of things could be going on in this picture, my guess is he's just been caught post binge (judging from the position of the eyes)
Very nice folds on him too, it really sells the weight. Also, I don't know why but the way you colored in the ears managed to make them look extra fluffy

I felt like keeping more of the movie's style would be best because I didn't think stylizing him would end up looking enough like the character.
And that is pretty much what happened in the story. Glad I was able to convey that effectively.
Getting the hang of drawing "weight" is something I want to be able to get better at.
The ears do seem to have a soft look to them.
