A battle at sea being fought by night. The lines have desintegrated into a melee of ships-of-the-line blasting away at whoever's visible. This isn't based on any battle in particular. At such a stage in a battle, the smoke does make it really quite tricky to see anything, so I cut back on putting in too much, otherwise it'd just be a picture of fog, with flashes of light. Visible here, although some of them might be easier to see than others, is one British 74 raking a French 1st rate, and two British first rates and another French 1st Rate in the background.
