---It was 5 years since the "Fall". 5 years since civilization crumbled, and cities became extremely dangerous places to be around, both because of the non-maintained buildings and the roving gangs within. In those 5 years, some had lost hope. Some had coped. Some had taken advantage of others. Some had researched.
With nearly unlimited access to scrap metal, mechanical parts others found useless, and a small supply of weaponry, Nix created his masterpiece. The "TYPE 01", codenamed "AURORA". With this creation, he became a symbol of power among the dredges of society. This naturally drew others interested in this power, both as opposers and as allies. The opposition, due to the fact that they could not hope to match the adapted armor and artillery shells of this "metal monster", were quickly crushed. Of the hopeful allies, only the best of the best were taken. These pilots were collectively known as the "Aftermath of Warfare", due to the heavy weapons on each vehicle. As well, due to the ever-changing needs of the area, no two vehicles are alike. Size, armor, shape, and loadout all differ among each member of the AoW. It is standard for each AoW member to learn advanced field repairs, so as to maximize longevity and minimize damage.
The AURORA is still in use by Nix himself, often seen on raiding parties for supplies, or shilouetted on the terrain on a scouting mission. The AURORA is classified as a "Sniper" class, with the large upper gun having been adapted to hold 75mm Howitzer shells. The AoW base is currently unkown.--- End military newsletter
Ive always wanted a mech. XD And if you interrupt me during repairs, I WILL give you that face. The "What the hell do you want?!" face. Anyways, its nearly 5 AM, I'm going to bed.
Oh yes, and I may draw some of the other members of the AoW, but I may not.
