What can I say? I just really love the play of light and dark in this location, as well as the repetition of the pillars adding perspective to the shot.
I also love how the light cuts me clean in two, although there's something almost unsettling about how clean that cut is.
This took me ages to edit - in the end I cut together one over-exposed shot with an under-exposed one, getting the transition smooth was painstaking, but I'm happy with the results.
