finally... request for

LukeDragonDog and Eternal, probably after a tickle session and grateful for the nice time.
Nice coincidence. The clients request wish involved such a gratitude gesture and we both came along to put his request to the end of the row to give the 1 1/2 year lasting request ride a nice ending.

thanks to all the clients for all those nice and interesting pics. I learned many new tricks and had the chance to draw many cool OCs too.
It was fun, sometimes a bit difficult, sometimes I hardly knew how to draw this or that scenario.
All clients were wonderful and mostly the working process was fluently going, the notes with the infos and refs were 9/10 well done and accurately executed.

But you still did it, and that's what matters.
You took on a large project like this and you kept going until you got through it, even if the projected time took much longer than you anticipated.
I'm glad you feel satisfied - and if you don't feel proud, well, that's fine :) But no one would blame you for feeling pride in your accomplishments.

the inscription was part of the request to beginn with. It was a nice coincident, that this particular client was one of the last ones to get his turn. So we came to the conclusion to do his pic as the very last one, because we felt it would make a nice touch and would fit to end the long way of drawing the 131 request list.

I was referring to the song Into the west, sung by Annie Lennox, for the movie The Lord of the Rings - The return of the King^^

Speaking of The Lord of the Rings, it's been awhile since I drew those furry versions of Elrond and Boromir in line with your species rules, and I've been contemplating the possibility of doing other characters from Middle Earth. If I were to go forward with the project, I'd already come up with some candidates for who to draw next: for the Wizards, I'd probably go with Saruman (best I can come up with for species is an Afghan Hound); the elves, I'm torn between Legolas Greenleaf for the chance to do a red fox and Lady Galadriel just to complete the set for the bearers of the Three; the dwarves, I'd probably do Thorin Oakenshield, if only for the chance to have a crack at drawing Orcrist; for men, I'd most likely go with one of the Rohirrim, Éomer, perhaps; and for the hobbits, I had some idea of doing Peregrin Took.

hm not sure about this, but I would say for Radagast it would be best to use a dog with shaggy fur, a dog that is often related with woods...

We call him a Rauhaardackel in german but I don´t know the english term^^;
As for the two blue wizards... hmm even more difficult.
Blue magic as far as I understand it is allways related with wind, air and water and with stuff that is connected with the mind, illusion, telepathy and stuff.
Well the only dog race that comes to my mind is this one, Windspiel, for its allmost wave like slim body type^^

Es war wirklich ein langer Weg und eine lange Zeit. Ein Jahr und vier Monate.
Requests werde ich keine mehr machen. Aber ab und zu werde ich mich nit einigen Furs in verbindung setzen für Art trades. Aber ich weiß noch nicht wie ich das managen werde, damit es Sinn macht.
Ich hoffe, dass ich im Winter genug Zeit haben werde für meine Kunst. Will den Comic wirklich bald in Angriff nehmen.
Und ich hoffe, du nimmst es nicht übel, dass ich Lukes altes Design für das Request genommen habe. Wusste nicht, dass du eine andere Gestalt angenommen hast^^
