My animal tail earrings have been selling very well - which has been very encouraging for me - so I intend to keep expanding the collection to include more groups of animals and more species.~
This piece starts off the reptile portion of this collection. These simple slender earrings are inspired by the tail of the African Water Monitor. I used detail sparingly, with just a sloping upper edge to catch the light differently, representing the ridge-like form along the top of the real tail.
- Weight of silver = 1g Sterling (each)
- Dimensions = 4cm long
- Time taken = 3hrs
- Price = R750
(All of my silver and gold pieces are entirely hand made, from melting and rolling the metal to sawing, shaping, soldering and finishing. The designs are my own and may be re-imagined, but every piece is an exclusive once off production~)
