Or, in this case, dance.
Fanart for the movie Happy Feet of main character, Mumble, when he was a baby. I wanted to crush him when I saw him- he was SOOO cute! I saw it tonight and it was incredibly adorable. I even liked a lot of the musical score-in essence it was a wonderful movie. Even has morals etc etc.
Turns out though that a lot of people supposedly complained to the managers of the cinema (we know one of the managers so thats how we go to see it) and well...some people thought it was too 'sexual' and some other crap.
I cannot believe people these days, for the life of me. They are willing to buy Bratz dolls and let their kids listen to rap about killing people/raping/ etc, wear skimpy clothes that make weird child molesters go buck wild- and they COMPLAIN about a movie with penguins who are just singing about love. Yes, there is some things that could easily be picked as being sexual...but its a friggin' movie about PENGUINS who just want LOVE.
Jesus what the hell is wrong with people. They have no problem dragging their kids to watch the Passion of the Christ which had more blood in it then most horror movies i've seen- and yet they cry and whine about a fairly harmless animated movie with penguins which are just doing what you would see on the discovery channel any other day of the week (besides the singing of course). They don't even really show any offensive scenes-except for that one part where its a joke...and do you think all the children that watched it know what the hell is going on? Only if the parents flip out will they know something is amiss. Much <3 to you parents!
UGH. Too much ranting. Anyway, this movie was great. You should see it, if not already. Enjoy!

Man, I know what you mean. What's funny is that you can ALSO see animal penises on nature shows. I saw one with a huge freaking whale schlong, on the Discovery Channel! <.<
Yeah, people are wierd.
Anywho, cute piccy ^^ VERY adorable, I just wanna hug him a lot, and give him fish ^^

A great movie! I saw it three times in the theaters. And, yes, it does have some 'parts'. But, then, again, this coming from parents who'll let their children see a movie about a mermaid (originally a sex symbol) fall in love with a human, then spear a giant octopus with a ship; or a wicked witch try to poison an innocent girl with an apple; or a deer running around frantically calling for its mother after it was shot; or a number of different 'parts'. Really, complaining about sex and making it this big hush-hush things just piques kids' curiosity. And they gotta learn from someone -- better their parents than from what people have scratched on the stall walls of public bathrooms, is what I say.
Welcome to a world where shooting people is regarded as proper entertainment, swearing might be a more horrible offense, not to mention showing a tit - or a happy couple enjoying warm, emotional and consentual sex.
Kids these days, pff. I guess it's a part of slowly twisting what's proper and what isn't in entertainment. What really saddens me that today's toys are more and more about trademarks and already defined characters instead of being more generic and vague to let imagination fill those spaces.

I like BHS' comments as well as the others here regarding Happy Feet.
I think it's just another sign of the sickness of today's society. Somehow killing is OK, but natural reproduction carries an evil stigma. This stigma and secrecy around sex is destructive to mental health. I suspect religion has a lot to do with it.......and have you heard the complaints that this movie was anti-religious? Parents were warning each other not to take their kids to see this movie on forums!
The more people I meet, the more I prefer the company of animals :-P
Anyways, cute pic, and good rant
