Zain And Friends (Poke D&D Card)
SO my friends have I have been doing a pokemon Dungeons and Dragons campaign for some time now. It's actually pokemon mixed in with elements from My Hero Academy, because...that what the DM decided to go with. We've been at this for a while now, playing on and off again for the last two years, separating the session arcs as 'seasons'. But that said, a lot has changed since we started. Pokemon have evolved, and new players have joined. So the need to update some of the character art and cards has become a requirement. But because i don't have the time I used to, and can't be doing a card for every character and each individual pokemon, I've started crafting these 'Team Portrait Cards'.
The third entry shows off Zain Hatori, one of the original campaign members alongside myself when we first started this whole my hero/pokemon mashup. Zain Hatori was an orphan, raised an trained by the monks of the Dragon's Den in Blackthorn City in the martial arts. However, Zain lacked the pateince or interest to take any of the actual principles to heart in the form of memorization. To most he's seen as a delinquent, his careless mode of dress and general aloof nature making it seem as though he doesn't have a care in the world, and refuses to confrom. But beneath his limited range of expression beats the heart of a rising hero. And while he couldn't tell you the deeper, intricate meaning behind the nature of chi, he certainly knows how to use it.
Like the card itself, flat colored with a painter practice background, this is supposed to be a quick and dirty explanation and job. Just to provide a nice visual for the games of all the main characters.
Please consider tippin' me.
