Araiko* moved from the countryside in a bigger city when she was a childcub and, therefore, in a new school... but her rude, tomboy and a little naive attitude immediately caught the attention of several school bullies, constantly making fun of her...
...several years pass...
Araiko is now a high school student and a thug, often being reproached by the school's principal due to the fights she often has with other girls who keep making fun of her...Araiko keeps being alone due to her thug appearance and she drowns this feeling spensing her free time studying (her grades are indeed very good) or practicing kendo (she always brings her bokken with her). Her thug attitude not only keep bullies away, indedd... many guys, not knowing her backstory, just think she's a bad person who loves to have fights but that's actually just an armor she always wears... things will be better the day she'll find that right person with which she can get rid of her armor and her past! :)
*Arai means "rude", ko means "female child" and it's used in female names
