Got GnR nostalgia while I was working at this drawing which is my last work at academic drawing course. I decided to take a break since non-stop studying is hard as well as art, haha. Guns N' Roses were one of my first "hair" bands among Motley Crue, KISS, Warrant and Aerosmith. Those bands lead me to the 80's metal/hard rock scene and it's still my fav music (besides blues and funk).
"Appetite for Destruction" is still among my all-time records. And I never really liked "Sweet Child O' Mine", but then digged the last part of the song. Ever know, years ago I have goosebumps listening it. Probably it's also one of my GnR fav songs, though it's sounds so banal.
As well as me Jack's St. Petersburg inhabitant (unlicke me he was born in small Navy town in Leningraskaya oblast' (Leningrad region) Kronshtadt on the Kotlin island in the Gulf of Finland) and likes to be on the top. Not sure I ever mention it on FA, but his real name is Vanya and Jack is stage and metalhead party nickname as well as real name of Lizzy is Liza.
I tried to reproduce that feeling and atmosphere when in 2015 (2014-2015 was hard years for me) I walked in the city center and listened to the 80's music in my headphones, peeped in the dirty courtyards and climbed on the roof to see the bird-eye view.
