EVE Online Ship Profiles: Caldari Navy Hookbill Frigate
This is the Caldari Navy Hookbill Frigate.
Featuring a 10% bonus to shield hit points per Caldari Frigate level, and an extra 10% Optimal Range for railguns and blasters from the same skill, this little ship goes far!
The text at the bottom, for those of bad eyesight:
Long struggling with a reputation for being the ugly duckling of the Caldari ship repertoire, the Hookbill recently got a new lease on life, being upgraded from a routine patrol vessel into a fleet-standard frigate. With the advancements brought on by the upgrade, the time is nigh for this little slugger to prove itself on battlefields throughout Caldari space and beyond.

To a point. I've found that a 80/20% mix of Passive/Active tends to give me a considerable better DPS resistance in a fight than with just simple passive loadouts alone.
That said, my Defensive skills were a bit lacking last time I checked. It's been MONTHS since I logged in last and if I remember, a lot of my early points went into Manufacturing/Mining/Learning D':

yeah i know those feels. Right now i dont like how much PG the 250 rail guns use for the medium size.. or maybe its the lack of grid.. i cant really understand which would help more, either way it kinda feels like a bitch but atleast i know i can deal higher dps at range where as other guns might have to switch ammo types. :3
