Akari is a large Alpha she-wolf, she's intimidating only down to her size and strength, but in fact is pretty soft and friendly. Almost mother-like in attitude and will look after stray wolves and if they prove their worth, will initiate them into her pack. Loyal to her pack, she often lets her Betas lead the hunt, and on a full moon will join them away from the territory to hunt.
