"You want me to tell you what you need to do?"
He approached Gryph, then removed the pistol from his holster.
"This is where you and the tale of a beast involved with a fox ends"
He took Gryphs hand and placed the pistol in it, before closing Gryph's fingers around the handle.
"End it now while you're still a beast"
He walked away, and Gryph let his pistol laden arm fall to his side, armor giving a brief rustle.
He stood there silently for a second, wrestling with his thoughts when he heard her speak
"The girl undressed and approached the bed...
...where her mother lay in a strange position with a hood over her face"
He turned to face her and she rushed to him, clinging to his chest and breastplate.
Gryph struggled to say something, but he couldn't, something else inside him knew better than to talk.
"Mother, what big ears you have"
"Mother, what big eyes you have" she sobbed
"Mother, what big claws you have"
"Mother! what big teeth you have!" She yelled, tears streaming down her face
Unable to bear the sight, Gryph closed his eyes, faced the sky and clenched his beak to muffle his own cry
A single shot rang out in the twilight


Jih Roh: Wolf Brigade is one of my favorite Animes, with great animation and a compelling narrative. In this commission of it I chose the emotional climax of the movie, But I suggest watching the movie to get the whole story.
