Those in the states know this all too well. The Mid-terms elections.
And this year its exceptionally nasty and mud slinging about. All the airwaves, on TV and radio is seemingly endless in political ads, junk mail arrives daily in droves, calls for "Are you supporting X?" "Voting for X", the yard signs are like litter.
Yes, its your duty to vote, do so.
But remember this...It all starts again in 13 months.

Let's start a petition that all elections for public office have to include an option "None of the above". If that's the winner, a new election is scheduled but none of the original candidates are allowed to run in that -- or maybe for that office ever again.
If that works, maybe we can take a cue from South Africa and ban all negative ads.

There used to be a fake party here called the Rhino Party and themmade joke proclamations. One of them ran on the platform of I will do nothing, I will waste my term, and I will ignore the people.

pretty much all of them... its now kind of a sure com-detection thing... those against bolsonaro... while the other side is made of those against comunism.. a red / non-red divide..

Thats cause Hawaii is not a key swing state like Wisconsin. The Democratic party has dumped MILLIONS in ad money to oust the Governor and take the seat of Paul Ryan. Most of that money came from out of state. Perhaps why We are getting Obama, Biden, Bernie AND Hillary within days to boost voter turnout. Trump was here 2 days ago doing the same.
The fact that Hillary is showing up is how desperate they are. Makes me glad I disavowed the party in 2016.
