Felt 'enlightened' so i just started typing. Short, yet it should provide plenty of back story for Kaine.
In this time, it has been long since the TMNT has defeated the Shredder but seems that the villains had a back up plan. This being one of them. Master Khan was left in charge of this project to mimic the mutation birth of the turtles to create their own baddie.
Number 476 is Kaine. He was born by the Foot to take out the mutant turtles from the inside. Someone like them they would let in their home and be guillible to trust. We'll plans didn't turn out the way they hoped to but seems like they have a back up plan.
FYI I'm basing this off the fact that Slash was created in the old toon series. The accidental creation of a mutant turtle and then you have Mona Lisa as well. But since Slash disappeared the Foot Clan had to start from scratch in order to make their own mutant.
