And it all happened so quick, it'll seem like a blur.
I know, there are a few things bass-ackwards between Chucky's control movements and what the airplane is doing. I didn't catch them until later, but I couldn't figure out how to fix them without redoing those panels. But you get the idea.

I'm thinking your description in the last pic applies (the distance of the other plane).
Hmmmm....despite my inner pervert yelling in my ear for the past couple of months (since Chucky's exam that is), I'm waiting for the debrief (there's a debrief right?).

Well done Skunky! :D Touch down, the crowd goes wild!!!
Oh and hey, about the perceived incorrect control inputs?
Hmmmm okay so you intend to bring a port bearing broad-side to slide slip, drop a ton of altitude, and slam dunk the approach?
Looks to me like the correct inputs. Starboard side roll plus star side yaw, to bear port broadside to relative wind... Yeah looks about right!

the latest one i saw was the crash of Airblue 202 in Afghanistan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4JXmtEtBFc
I think what surprised me the most on that one was the rules of civility between flight deck personnel You do not belittle harangue or crossly lecture your flight crew, as they may see something and not say a thing because they have been talked down to.
once I hear Pull Up being said in a mechanical voice,, the crash is almost always next...

..And here I was on only late last Thursday wondering after nearly a full month 'why hell there hasn't been an update yet?!' *sigh* If only I had been a little more patient and stuck around a little longer.
Still, with so much anticipation and story drawn out over the years in these comics it's admittedly quite dispiriting to see everything come to such a snails pace as of the past few years , I think barely a week worth of story has been told over the past year and a half.
I understand how busy being a commercial pilot can be, but I still keep hoping for a time when I can see maybe two a month or one every three weeks again, I know that at least the early part of every year it seems you're a bit less busy and are able to get out two pages within at least one month at least once a year, this always seems to land around March or April, is something about those months that causes less air travel? If that's the case I'm not sure what it would be, because of 'Spring Beak', Easter and "March Madness" I would think that those months would be even busier, at least for American college students anyway.

Yeah, it's been a slow pace. Usually when the weather gets better, spring and summer, I do a lot of hiking and outdoorsy stuff. But more than anything, I have a side project I've been working on for the past year on Inkbunny, and that has taken a significant amount of time. Work has picked up as well. Sorry to say the pace will not be picking up anytime soon.
...Aaaaannd as soon as Chucky's Esspy comes to a complete dead stop, the Stratobeam abruptly does a 90 degree dive landing nose first right on top him in a scene identical to the conclusion of the Rocko's Modern Life episode 'Jet Scream'!
Next scene: Kyra (and/or possibly even Nimsha ) come running toward the horrific scene on the runway only to witness his bloody crushed corpse being pulled out of the wreckage by fire fighters with paramedics being largely unsuccessful in their attempts resuscitate him, she hyperventilates sobbing knowing that she fully planned and intended on finding Chucky and seducing him on the very night of the day that he first soloed.
..That..would undoubtedly suck..in the most unimaginably awful way.
..Oh well ..that life!

Now I'm seriously hoping that he does go and meet Merry within not more than the next few pages (if not the next page) after this, with so long between updates it gets a bit agitating having to wait sol ong for somehting other than the process of a single flight to happen. I do love the flight/aviation comics don't get me wrong, but with as much time as there usually is between every new page it gets a bit grating waiting in giddy anticipation to see where the more social side of Chucky's personal life goes next when back down at ground level.
I know Chucky is inevitably setting himself up for major disappointment but I still hope he at least gets to 'pump his seed' into Merry before she finally breaks any kind of potential bad news for him, as I have come to fully expect her having found a new boyfriend already, especially knowing how she is. *smh*
As much as I dislike the idea of Chucky being in an adulterous one night stand only to get tossed aside yet again, as he seems to be too pure and innocent to get sucked into that kind of thing, at least not knowingly, and as disgusting as I would find such a concept to be, I still think it should happen because Merry owes it to him after all the shit she has already put him through.

At least you pointed out that the stuff you drew may not match up with reality. =P Hollyweird doesn't even do that very often. Which can get people killed.
Though in your case, I get the feeling the flight instructors would smack any student over the head who tried to use a webcomic as a resource on how to fly a plane. XD Y'know, instead of the mountain of documentation and flight experience available at the school?

I'm a little embarrassed about it honestly, because my knowledge on the subject is pretty in depth. The problem started with panel three where Chucky should be using outside aileron instead of steering with the rudder. But it's easy to reverse things because his left is my right since we're facing him, then there are two different views of the airplane, one from behind and one from the front. It's all stuff I should have caught, but didn't until I was too far along.
And yes, I hope no one uses this comic as a flight instruction tool.

I don't know if I'd have that problem because I tend to be able to swap things around in my head. With decent practice, I'd probably be a good artist; I just don't take the time for it. I'd at least be able to keep some idea of what goes where. XD It's a useful skill to have for various things. I tend not to get lost in video games, so long as I've got time to sight-see a bit. =P
