Heir to house Beaumont. The Beaumont clan helped create the guild, Gryphons Bane, and still offer their estate as an HQ for the guild. Because of this Scarlet grew up surrounded by many heroes including some of her other family members. She idolized them and trained hard to become one herself. Eventually she began to make a name for herself as a ranger. She was skilled at hiding in plain sight and moving silently as well as being deadly accurate with a bow and throwing knife. She also learned close quarter fighting and a duel dagger technique. During an assignment in which she was supposed to secure a dark mage and his laboratory, she accidentally came into contact with a foul potion and was transformed into a drider. The initial shock of the transformation caused her to fail in her mission as she is terrified of spiders and didnt move from her spot for hours after the incident. This allowed the mage to escape. She still has issues psychologically with what happened to her and will occasionally forget she's part spider. She is constantly searching for a way to change back but as the years go on she is slowly losing interest in being normal again.

Becoming a drider heightened her senses and reaction time as well as boosting her speed and strength. She kept her personality and sanity and over a short time most the folks at the guild just accepted that she was a drider now. She also gained a resistance to poison and ability to see in the dark as well as alter her saliva into an acidic poison she can coat her arrows with. She also has urticating hair and can use it to cause discomfort for people trying to grab her. Her silk can be used to make light but durable clothings and the change has overall improved her life (a point she will never admit).

Her newfound ability has made her even more effective as a ranger and most of her missions since the incident have been overwhelmingly successful. She was even able to track down the mage she let escape and bring him to justice, though even he did not know how to change her back.

Scarlet is a kind and thoughtful girl and thought her silence and shyness are often off putting she is a dear friend once you get to know her. She is fiercely loyal and will support her guild mates and friends. She can be a bit of a kleptomaniac and often takes small items without thinking. She also still has moments to this day when she isn't thinking clearly that she sees her spider half and begins to run in terror.
