
This is a picture my dad sent me years ago, and around that time I cropped it into this--it's a view of the lodge at the base of the ski slope. I kinda like this over the original, because this seems to have a little more balance, the line of the lake's shore is about right, and there is a good blend of branches and sky. Furthermore, it brings to mind--at least with me--the landscapes of the Old Masters and more recent artists, Paul Cezanne being way up there.
And even if it is not winter, this park is a great place to see year-round.
