Most of the village’s men showed up. They came from many of the local clans and families that lived in and around the town. Even most of the Raccoon Clan, that lived in the hills and kept to themselves, showed up. All together it was a rag-tag bunch made up from several different species’ and age. The Guard would not have approved of them using such a group as soldiers, but this was all they had and it would have to be enough to protect them.
Just shortly after noon the meeting started. Since the mayor was not willing to help, he was not present. This left no lead speaker for there issue, so it was decided to nominate the person who had the most over all soldiering experience, and even some first paw experiences to share with them. Out of the entire Brohenwood region, only a handful of Anthro’s had ever served in the Guard and only two of them had ever seen combat.
The first nominee was a rabbit Anthro of 57 years, and known only as Breen. His midnight-black fur was very visibly battle worn, and had patches missing in the place of a few nasty scares. His fur was in bad condition from the constant application of amour. It was known that he served in the Wayhelm Guard for nearly forty years, and was an officer for twenty. All of this left him the townsfolk’s best hope for a general, and strategist. When asked if he would take up the position he said, “I will gladly fill this position of honor you bestow upon me, and I shall do the best of my ability to keep these daemons out of our midsts.”
The second Anthro to be named was a great white wolf of 35 years. This wolf was known as Atellus Braveheart. Not only did Atellus have combat experience, but he was a great hero from the Claveon War. It was said that a great act of bravery from Atellus lead to the eventual defeat of the Claves at there capital city of Narl-Mir. If the stories where correct, Atellus charged twenty members of the Elite Claveon Guard and smote them down to clear the path for his troops to make a final push on the Capital Building. He was to be there front line leader and primary trainer.
After nearly three hours of discussions and once all the members made there mark, in ink upon circling ledger, that the Brohen Militia would meet for its first training session after the first day of the new year.
Over the course of the next week was an endless stream of festivities, and this raised the townsfolk’s spirits a bit and took there minds off of the Namuh. The countryside was covered in fresh layers of snow, and the air smelled clean and fresh with the exception of the occasional smell of a fireplace going. Brohen was a cozy and inviting place, more so this time of year than any other. With all the good tidings and cheer flowing through the town and its inhabitants any visitors would be welcomed with open arms.
On New Year ’s Day in the early morning hours, a stranger walked into town. He was dressed in furs, and was carrying full sets of trapping gear. Such things were normal for this time of year, but something didn’t seem right about this stranger, he smelled...different.
This is the stories third installment, but there is still much to come.
Keep watching for future installments!

Yeah.
Well it is pretty much thrown together.
I think i even posted that with one of the threads. I just kind of randomly came up with an idea and decided to play around with it. Its more so to try to get me in the mood for writing again than anything else.
Thanks for taking the time to look though.
