Better late than never I suspect...
This is the little bit of silliness I was working on when my brain splattered against a writer's block I didn't see coming. Soooooo.... it was a bit like trudging through waist deep mud, but it is done, and; I think I have come to an agreement with my characters.

My coffe's sitting here next to me, freshly poured and as yet untouched. As it happens I watched "Bridge of Spies" last night. Now, putting those two things together and measuring them against the history of clever stories you've done in the past (you know, the ones that may not break the fourth wall but will at the very least lick it once or twice). What you get it the sound of screeching metal and crunching gravel as my train of thought is firmly nudged off its rails. It comes to a rest, smoking slightly and tilted at an odd angle. Out of it pops a disheveled looking wolf, scratching his head and muttering, "How in blazes did we end up HERE?"
Awesome Vixyy, that's how.

Ohy, and so you've arrived to facing the creation, "the portraits of your children".
"I have no beginning, I have no death, I am simply here to please your readers with no depth of substance at all. I am nothing more than an ‘extra’ meant to explain some impossibility you came up with and want your readers to believe.”
*Shutters*... "Why do you kill off so many of your characters Mr. Helix, it makes you seem cheap" *Points up* I would be utterly doomed if this where the case.
Fun tale though.

Our characters are alive, either as pieces of our own consciousness or entities of their own. I’ve stopped trying to make sense of it.
Brilliant story, V. I’d say it reminds me a bit of Onic & Andrea, but that would be backwards since you’ve been influencing my writing for many years now.

The first thing I though of when I finished reading this, twice, was the lyrics from this 1960's ditty:
"And They're coming to take me away Ha Ha
They're coming to take me away ho ho he he ha ha
to the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time,
and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats
and they're coming to take me away ha ha"
Creative types think different. You're one of them. Keep it up.
