lol I know, I just like to complain. xD I'm playing 358/2 days now, and I'm like, I WANT DONALD AND GOOFY, BAWL CRY WHINE. x3 Don't mind me. I just feel like Roxas' super success with the fans is causing Square to sort of try to shift the focus from Sora to Roxas, and in doing that, they are bringing things like the 'new' storyline into way too much focus for me, and I really...lol, all I want is a stupid game where I can go into Disney worlds and be cute. x3
Good freaking luck. This Kingdom Hearts series involve cosmic horror-level entities invading various Disney worlds and has Mickey Mouse taking up arms to protect existence and fight alongside Final Fantasy characters and other Disney characters while battling evil forces trying to corrupt existence through metaphysics. Kingdom Hearts has never been cute. The only cute area is Winnie the Pooh, and that's because the Heartless haven't figured out how to invade a book yet.
As for Roxas… well, I certainly wanted to know what was up with him while he was in the Organization. It also makes him a more tragic character, in my mind.

I thought KH1 was adorable, with just the right touch of darkness to make it freaking awesome. I just...maybe it's that I'm getting too used to the novelty of it all, or something, but I feel like it's really drifting from its origins. And don't get me wrong, I like the whole series. I do! But...I feel like...other KH fans are very different from me, and I feel like I missed something. Everyone is always all about Organization XIII, and I couldn't even understand what they were, or what they had to do with anything. xD I think most of my problem is, I came into this fandom because I like Disney. I didn't know who Cloud was when I first started playing (when people told me "Oh FF characters are in this game!" I thought, "OMG LIKE CECIL?!?!?!?" *SHOT*).

They're probably gunna keep Sora out of they're games for a couple years to starve us, then just as we're about to give up on it they'll release another kingdom hearts game and we'll be in such a hurry to get it we'll buy before we even know what it's about or even if it's worth buying.

Final Fantasy VII, Amazing -> Advent Children, Okay (the lame VA killed it for me personally)-> Dirge of Cerberus.... what the fuck went wrong here? -> Crisis Core, ohgodmakeitstop... (game was FUN, story was /awful/).

Kingdom Hearts, Amazing -> Chain of Memories,...not...ENTIRELY sure what the point was, but okay. -> Kingdom Hearts II, actually pretty good too, if you look past the severely dumbed down controls. -> (stick crappier release of Chain of Memories here so fans don't raid the SE building) -> 358 Days.... I mean. The story...is like he went to FanFiction.net, scrolled down the page and just jammed his finger at one and said "Let's use this plot, only cut out that sex scene because Disney wouldn't approve." Again, the game is /fun/ for me anyway, because I take advantage of multiplayer. The game would be completely forgettable without that part, imo. -> Birth by Sleep, no hands on, but we have some plot details that have been leaked, and I'm already face palming. REALLY NOMURA? /REALLY/

Vs XIII, ??? We'll have to see.
I like Nomura as an artist, and more often than not his plots start out good. But then he tries to stretch them out and cover up holes he missed, making more holes, leaving the plot even more confusing and intangible. In short, he runs good series into the ground with bad story telling. Not only that, seems the programmers get lazier after working on their 4th Final Fantasy VII game. Sticky controls much? But that's a different debate. My point is, he needs to learn when to call it quits with a series and move on. KH is one of my most favorite series, but, I know when enough is enough. The Credits in KH2 were beautiful, no need to fuck them up with /MORE/ story.
And all of his character designs have too many belts. And zippers.
......Then again, that's all just my opinion -shrug- Whatever floats yer boat~
