Aveta originally hails from the Attendants, a group of trenco that are skilled in the medical fields as well as being devout followers of Juliet, the Creator.
She received her medical training during her early years and would later come to Holdout alongside a larger diplomatic mission to establish ties with the Iron Brigade settlement.
Whilst being part of the mission, she was tasked with teaching vital medical skills to Iron Brigade members to bolster the group’s medical capabilities.
This was in exchange for an non-aggression pact between the two groups as well as allowing the Attendants to setup a following within Holdout.
During her time in Holdout, Aveta would eventually meet her late mate and after the the original purpose of the mission was fulfilled.
She elected to join Iron Brigade and become a permanent resident of Holdout to be with him.
He was at the time the lead scavenger in vehicle bay 3 and the two would come to parent several children in the many years they were together.
As a resident, she continued practising medicine in Holdout’s clinic.
Though she would also occasionally accompany her mate and his team on their excursions into the industrial wastes.
Unfortunately, it was during one of these excursions that her mate and his team would be killed in an engagement with unidentified assailants.
Sometime after this event, the Brigadier of Iron Brigade personally approached her with the task of creating and leading a new scavenging team.
This was mainly due to her already having prior experience in the field, coupled with her skills as medic.
She accepted the task presented to her and not longer after accepting she would come across Kenzie.
