You know what's great about this picture? It captures the exact moment I became old.

So,  zee-wolf recognized me while I was out taking photos. We exchanged a few happy "hello!"s, a bit of small talk, chatting it up a bit. Now, I was in a good mood, having fun at the con. For some strange reason, I had a temporary bout of self-esteem and confidence, even. So, with this nice young lady enthusiastically chatting with me, I thought I'd say something a little playful and flirty.

Before I could even think of something to say in that regard, she bursts out with an incredibly innocent and enthusiastic, "Yeah, I remember getting my picture taken with you in Shockwave when I was 14!"

Instantly, my hair turned solid gray, my skin faded and wrinkled, my bones developed arthritis and started leaning on my tripod to support my weight like it were a walking cane. It was like a scene out of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". I limped away to my room to take a nap, and when I woke up I told some kids to get off my damn lawn.
