Prose:

The lighthouse keeper forever sits apart, his watch takes him to the fringe of civility.

Upon his rock he roosts, his castle upon the reefs, and broods.

Thoughts, dangerous for the commoner at home, is all to keep him company on his watch.

His thoughts linger even when he’s tracelessly gone away. Gone to all his peers.

Another gone, another sentenced to the post.

To guard the graveyard of civilizations.
