Here's a representation of two deities of my fantasy universe:
- Lumen Sanctum, the Ancient of the Light and Sun
It is believed that Lumen Sanctum was a human before. He bears many other names: The First Light, Arûm Solare, The Lord of Light, The Grandfather. He appeared to the humans through visions of his first prophet. Lumen Sanctum gave to his most faithful servants the secrets of divine fire and healing.
- Baan, the Ancient of Liberty and Destruction
Baan was a dragon before. He despises how bad the dragons treat the other "lesser" races. The non-dragons might not have been gifted with strong magical essence, but it doesn’t mean that they had to be bullied by arrogant dragon kin. He lead numerous war against his kind, leading to lose the favours of Bahamut. That didn’t prevent him to increase his power and influence, leading him to Godhood. He doesn't considers himself good or evil, but believes his cause is just.
They're part of the Ancient Pantheon, who composed of former major deities who didn't fully fell from grace, but they're not forgotten.
Both of those deities are worshiped by my character Draselth. Zahardi worships Lumen Sanctum, but he knows him under a different name.

His initial motivation was how other Dragons treated 'lesser' races, right? At worst, that would be neutral. With one of his spheres of influence being Liberty, that is a heavily Chaotic aspect, as Chaos favors individual freedoms as opposed to the strict regulation that Law favors.
(I like to put way too much thought into this kind of stuff because it's way too fun. ^o.=.o^)

Yeah, alignment is a fun thing, though unfortunately a lot of people like to take it too literally, what with Lawful ______ people being unfun sticks in the mud, or Chaotic _____ being zany, insane madmen. And nobody ever allows the occasional dip into the next alignment, they never do something considered evil even if it serves the greater good, or taking a lawful approach if it means preserving the liberties of everyone.
