Drawn after a scene I imaged in my head while reading the beginning of the first book of Wolves of the Beyond series which is the first Lone Wolf where Faolan’s real mother abandons him on the frozen river to drown because of his splayed paw and he hangs on to the ice even with his eyes and ears sealed shut at a young age he is able to survive and make it to shore.
