August, nineteen ninety-four in good ol' Dover, Delaware at my aunt's house for the summer. There I was, drawing up some feline characters for my second ever made story, Alley Dawgz. Cheeyana was the very first feline female anthro I have created. She was made more to be a bad guy at first, but as the years went by, I found something very interesting in her. I dunno what it was, but I started to go more and more in depth with her until (around the) fall season of nineteen ninety-five, I decided to make a solo story of this cheetah. Cheeyana's story is VERY in-depth taking events back to before she was even born. Back to when her parents were kids. I've written and rewritten (or should I say, "Fine-tune") her story countless amount of times over the years. Sometimes, I'd just leave her story alone for a few months and then go back to writing again. I loved every minute of it and I'm glad that it took me this long to thoroughly plot her story. I might not be all that fast of a story writer like most movie/novel/comic writers are, but dammit, I am proud of my progress and how it's turning out.
Now some people have asked about Cheeyana's history or her story, but I don't want to go into detail with her because one answer will lead to another question and in that case, I might as well tell the whole story. Questions ranging from why her tear marks are backwards, to the most common question, how or where she get her strength from and how strong is she. Her story will explain it all solving these mysteries and more. The question should be, "When are you going to make it into a comic?" All I can do is shrug my shoulders and reply with, "When I feel like it..." for the time being =/
The scenery was created on May, two thousand-eight and boy, I was SO eager to have Cheeyana's upcoming anniversary picture ready. I mean, her background has been finished, it's just that I kept updating it with her recent sketches. A majority of her old pictures that I did years ago were finally scanned and placed on this BG. Each and every sketch I've scanned of Cheeyana were placed carefully in a certain spot. Some of the real good pictures were placed up front as top priority while the others wouldn't matter if most of the picture was covered. Just so as long as the viewer can see Cheeyana's image a little.
Since it's Cheeyana's fifteenth anniversary, I decided to draw her when she was actually fifteen. Upon drawing her younger self, some things had to be alterd according to that time frame. An event that take place before she busted some giant creature's teeth and kept it's two giant fangs as a souvenier on her blue beads, her pony tail was more in a wild-like style, smaller build of her body (obviously), and such.
One helluva creation, one hulluva story, and I can't believe how many guys have told me how much they dig her. Been happening since ninety-five LoL. Well, this ultimate collage of my drawings of the feline shows my history of drawing her and such without words. A total dedication to one of my most faved creations in my lifetime.
