Halloween 2018 pumpkin!
I just really liked the movie The Ritual and thought it had one of the coolest looking creatures ever. Had to carve it!
I mistakenly though doing a pumpkin carving where the figure itself was basically just a silhouette would be easier but hahahaha I was very wrong!

This is the actual maquette for the creature, and the front bit between the two 'tusks' is a sort of flesh hood, under which are just the glowing eyes. You actually get to see it quite thoroughly in the movie, which I appreciated since it was such a cool monster!

It's so great. No joke, literally one of my favorite monster designs of all time. Has all of those recognizable human/animal features, spliced together in an unsettling but creative and somewhat believable way. Has a lot of elements of what makes the Silent Hill creatures so creepy.
Literally just watched this movie last week with my roommate~ Really awesome movie, creature was nice and creepy, and I'm surprised I enjoyed a horror movie XD
I get scared easily. Lol. I normally don't watch them.
