This was something at random. Trying out lighting and shading practices. All done with brush/air brush tools in SAI.

What gave me the idea was the fact that lava radiates light naturally plus unlike the sun, the light source is below. The best area I did in my mind was the stone at the focal point of this piece, and then the lava pipe in the background above.

Overall it turned out to be some nice practice.
