Vector chibi commission for
of her feline character, Jade.A lot of work went into this one and I am quite happy to see it finally finished. The pattern for her dress was created through the LiveTrace option in Illustrator based on a Kimono print, however everything else was made custom for this commission, including the Sailor Jupiter inspired rose earrings, which were also referenced.

It wasn't my intention to make her look robotic, but I can see why she can appear that way. (I see it as well now that you've mentioned it.)
I pretty much just draw random shapes on a whim in the program based on the scanned sketch.
