This was not a normal winter for us, Usually we only get about 1/2 the snow and it's gone in just a very few days. However just a short distance north of us ....

Snow fall in the forest is quite an experince. I was caught in a snowfall in the smoky mountians couple years ago. A strange quiet comes across the forest. Life seems to stand still, sound get muffled expect for the snow landing on the trees. It was surreal

This was here in the valley, All the roads into the Mtns were closed LOL. It usually is not this bad but it does remind us we live right at the base of the Rockies... I'm planning to take a trip up the hill as soon as we get a little snow this year.
